William Edward Sanders

William Edward Sanders, age 85, of White Pine, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Lee, and Thetis Sanders; siblings, R. Lee (Eva) Sanders, Hubert Sanders, Evelyn (Harold) Eady, Edna (Loren) Pierce, Dot Rabitsch, and Donna Sanders.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Sanders; children, Bill (Michelle) Sanders, Deborah (Mike) Headrick, Ken (Cathy) Sanders, Emily (Timmy) Townsend; his pride and joy grandchildren, Landon Sanders, Lauren (Jake) Corum, Kaitlyn (Ryan) Winstead, Jordan Sanders, Logan (Allie) Townsend, Jayden Townsend, and Griffin Townsend; special great-grandson, Graylen Winstead; siblings, Jimmy (Glenda) Sanders, Mary (the late J.C.) Gay; in-laws, Jo Anne Sanders, Don Rabitsch, Tommy (Lynn) Hancock; along with several loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, especially Mandy, Jennifer, and Nichole, and dear family friend, Michelle Brady.

Also, so much appreciation to Jennifer Eisenhower and the entire staff at the White Pine Family Practice.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2 – 4 P.M. at First Baptist Church in White Pine. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Brian Osborne officiating.
