William "Michael" Allen

William “Michael” Allen, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the VA Medical Hospital in Johnson City.  He fought a brave battle with lymphoma.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Foard Allen; father, Malcolm O. Allen, Jr.; sisters, Sandra Reasoner Deering, and Judith Ann Allen; brother-in-law, Carey Hastings.

He is survived by his brother, Malcolm Allen and wife Debbie of Murfreesboro, TN, sisters, Barbara Carter and husband, Tom Carter of White Pine, and Debra Hastings of Morristown; special niece, Lisa R. Lee; nephew, Chris Reasoner; along with several nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice, Serenity House, and special hospice groups at VA Hospital.

A military graveside service will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City.
