Wanda Kirby Obituary
Wanda Ann Whatley Kirby, 78, died on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Wanda grew up in Tampa, FL and was a fourth generation Floridian. She graduated from Plant High School, before attending Wesleyan College in Macon, GA and getting married. She was a reporter at the Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times for many years, which fed her love of knowledge and people.
An adventurous spirit, she moved to Morristown in 2006 knowing no one, but quickly made many friends through her activities with the Rose Center, Garden Thyme Herb Society, Master Gardeners, and All Saints Episcopal Church. Her love of gardening, food, and entrepreneurial spirit were infectious.
Wanda is survived by her two daughters, Laura and Lisa Shiveler.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later time.
