Tom E. Solomon, age 87, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer.
Tom was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City and a frequent visitor to Soul’s Harbor Church also of Jefferson City.
Tom worked at American Enka and Skeen Furniture before opening Solomon Furniture and Solomon Monument Co. in New Market.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Hodgson Solomon; son, Timmy; daughter, Suzanne Davis.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Rachelle Marie Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Nancy Solomon; brother-in-law, David Hubbard, along with many nieces and nephews.
Thanks to his extended family, Vickie Hubbs and Jo Ann Hodgson who sat with him often and shared their time and love.
Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Jefferson City Rehab. For their professional and personable care.
His final wishes were for no traditional funeral services. Instead, he wished to be remembered for his love of the Lord, family, friends, hometown, and his neighbors.
