Thomas F. McKinney, Jr., age 79, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his home. He was a Hamblen County Constable for 22 years in the 11th and 12th districts and was an Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas F. and Phyllis Silvers McKinney, Sr; brother, Ray McKinney.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Wolfe McKinney; sons, Tommy, Michael, and Paul McKinney; sister, Loretta Furchess; brother, Eddie McKinney both of Greeneville; step-daughters, Patty Buell and Connie Moss; grandchildren, Zack and Corey McKinney, Eric Michael Walker, Candice Higgins; great-grandchildren, Maddox, Jones, Daniel McKinney and Ryan Butler; great-great grandson, Kyler Williams.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home from 5 – 7 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Don Harding, Rev. Jack Greene and Rev. Terry Greene officiating.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be members of Hamblen County Sheriff Department and Constables.
Graveside/interment services will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
