Teddy R. Brooks

Teddy Randall (Ted) Brooks, age 78, of Morristown passed away peacefully Wednesday August 25th at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center after a lengthy struggle with deteriorating health issues.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Vola Brooks, son Kenny (Sue Ellen) Brooks, brothers, Roy, Lyle, Wayne, Dana, Jay and Dale Brooks; sisters, Evelyn Brooks, Bobby Atkins, Thelma Stuffle and Scotty Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Sherrie; brother, Don Brooks; children, Jeff (Karen) Brooks, Randy (Beverly) Brooks, Jody (Kelly) Brooks, Justin (Tina) Huskey, Isaac Huskey and Carla Ball; grandchildren, Tiffany, Leah, Adria, Chloe, Ashley and Taylor Brooks, Ricky Kitts, Chelsea Kinsey, and Riley Grubb, Keanna Maroney, Issiah Ball,  Carlos Hernandez, Sofia, Isaac, Aden and Xaviera Huskey and Andrew Dearing; great grandchildren, Talen Kitts, Brinley, Kenadi and Rohan Kinsey, Nevaeh, Christian, Zeke, and Gabe Myers and Bailee Yates; father in law, Fred Ball; special friends of the family, Tim Surrency and Amy and Logan Johnson, and a whole list of nieces, nephews, friends and other family too numerous to even begin to name!

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 pm Monday, August 30th at Stetzer Funeral Home of Morristown, with a celebration of Life Service to follow. Rev. Kenny Cole officiating.

The family has requested that all social distancing and other Covid-safe practices be observed during the services.
