Sharon M (Marshall) McDuffie

Sharon M. McDuffie, age 74, of Morristown, passed away on August 5, 2023.

Sharon was born on September 26, 1949, in Biltmore, NC to the Late Ernest and Margaret Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her stepson, William Timothy McDuffie.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William Bill McDuffie; stepmom, Carolyn Marshall of Hendersonville, NC; a special cousin, Mike Marshall of Asheville, NC; a sister, Joyce Dilleshaw (Rick) of Greenwood, NC; a brother, Steve Marshall (Louann) of Orlando, FL; and special friend, Ruth Wilson of Morristown.

Sharon was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed serving her church and community.  Sharon had many talents, but she loved her role as an office manager for Dr. Renner and Dr. Julie Jones.  She was known for her beautiful smile and willingness to help others.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Smoky Mountain Hospice of Morristown, for their exceptional care and kindness.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Morristown with Monsignor Patrick Garrity officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Smoky Mountain Hospice Indigent fund of Morristown would be greatly appreciated.
