Ruth (Munsey) Allen

Ruth Munsey Dalton Allen departed this life on Thursday, October 17, 2024 and went to meet her heavenly father and all her family that has already gone before her.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel (Tommy) and Myrtle Munsey; also, Robert and Roberta Mincey who raised her; 1 brother, Edd Munsey; 3 sisters, Tudy Clay Williams, Lissie Arnwine, and Judy Dalton; her beloved grandson, Robert Jessie Dalton; 1 niece, Teresa Ruth (Terry) Arnwine Avis.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Ruth and Gary Blankenship, Wesley and Gretta Dalton, Bradley, and Crystal Noah; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 5th generation great-great-granddaughter.

A celebration of her life will be held later at her church, T.N.T. Church of God in New Tazewell with Rev. Paul Dean and Keith Stewart officiating.
