Rosette (Ball) McCarter

Rosette Ball McCarter, 84, of Newport passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 surrounded by her immediate family.  She was born on June 21, 1939 to James Riley & Myrtle Justus Ball of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and she was one of 12 children

She was preceded in death by her husband David "Dug" McCarter and son John David McCarter.

She is survived by her son Michael Arthur (Sharon) McCarter and her two loving grandsons, Caleb Ashton McCarter and Bryson Alexander McCarter, all of Newport, Tennessee.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to Joann Cox and Candace Harvey for their unwavering support and care of Rosette.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 1 p.m. at  Union Cemetery of Newport, Tennessee.  Preacher Scott Gorrell will be officiating.
