“Her children will rise up and call her blessed…” Proverbs 31:28

Rose Marie Mangum, 86, our precious mother, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023.  She is the daughter of Peter and Mary Yandura Jablonski and was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 17, 1936. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Rose was deeply loved by her family who adored her.  She married the love of her life, James Larry Mangum, and moved to Tennessee for the remainder of her life.  She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.  She worked at Bristol Memorial Hospital for many years until she retired to care for her in-laws. She spent her life serving others.  She enjoyed her pets, reading, laughing, and visits from family.  She was greatly loved by all who met her. Her devotion to her family is greatly admired.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary Jablonski; her husband, James Larry Mangum; a sister, Betty Lou Wheekly; a brother, Theodore Jablonski; and two grandsons, James Charles (Charlie) Mangum and Dustin Dwight Mason.
