Roger Conan Taylor, age 74 of Morristown (Talbott), passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his home. He was a faithful member of Centenary United Methodist Church. He retired from Magnavox.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Flossie Taylor of White Pine; brothers Carl and Buddy Taylor of White Pine and Ronnie Taylor of Morristown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy Taylor of Morristown (Talbott); daughters, Jamie (Fred) Patterson of Daphne, AL, Rogie (Scottie) Nichols of Sneedville; sisters, Suzie Reed of Newport, Pat (Henry) Taylor, Mickey Sinard, Madelyn Cotter all of White Pine and Marilyn Taylor of Morristown; grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel and Kayley Patterson of Daphne, AL, Eli Bailey of Sneedville, Bailey (Jordan) Lawson of Morristown; great-granddaughters, Alice Patterson of Daphne, AL, and Leanna Lawson of Morristown.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care that was provided. A special thank you to Shonda, Garrett, Michelle and Martha of Amedisys Hospice.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home from 6 – 8 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Ron Simmers and Rev. Alice Isom. Graveside services will be Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, everyone is asked to wear a face mask and practice safe distancing.
