Robert Fryling Ward

Robert F. Ward, age 58, of New Market, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.  He served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army.  He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Fryling Ward; along with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Kaye McMannen Ward; children, John, Michael, Ian, and Melissa; step-children, T.J., Erin, and Chris; 7 grandchildren; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; sister, Kim.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5-6 p.m. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Hamlet officiating.
