Rita Ellen Lawrence, age 73, of Talbott, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Stewart; father, Burel Boggs; sister, Linda Dodson.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Lawrence; father and mother-in-law, Terry (Brenda) Lawrence; sisters, Debbie (Harold) Clason, Donna Vandeberge, and Sandra Delong; brother, James (Michelle) Lawrence; children, Katherine (Todd) Martin, Alfred (Rhonda) Kopp, Kevin (Ingrid) Kopp, and Tamara (Dale) Hensley; grandchildren, Ashley (Stephan) Pavloff, Todd (Dallas) Martin, Katelyn (Dakotah) Griffis, Leif Kopp, Kaytlin Hensley, Leslie Hensley, and Matthew Hensley; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Kayla, Lilly, Delilah, and Adaline.

Family and friends will meet Friday, July 19, 2024 at Bethesda Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. for a 11:30 a.m. graveside/inurnment service.
