Richard Travis Lay

Richard Travis Lay, age 43, was carried by angels to meet Jesus on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Lavena Milwee, and C.R. and Wilma Lay.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Dickie and Teresa Lay, Morristown; brother, Roger Lay, Greeneville, TN; sister, Bridgette (Matt) Akins, Colchester, VT; children, Brayden Lay, Knoxville, TN, Noel Norton, of Nashville, Paisley Lay, Knoxville, TN; nieces, Autumn Mabe, Corbin, KY, Cabriella (Brandon) Waddell, Washington, DC, Brianna (Jacob) Felts, Maryville, TN, Evangeline Akins, Colchester, VT; one nephew, Jack Akins, Colchester, VT; Uncles, Alfred (Shirley) Milwee, and Tim Milwee, Brooksville, FL, Lynn (Ann) Lay, Bean Station, TN; special friend, (2nd mom), Judy Long; along with many other friends and relatives.

There will be no formal service, but you may visit the family at their home.
