Rebecca Sue (Robertson) White, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Mother was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She was strong, self-sufficient, and always put the needs of others ahead of her own.
She was a 45-year Berkline employee, a talented seamstress, sketch artist, and gardener. Spring and summer were her favorite seasons and would find her planning, planting, and tending her garden, yard, and flowers.
She was a life-long member of Mt. Airy United Methodist Church and a person of deep faith. She provided a steadfast example of honesty, discipline, and love for her children. We are heart-broken, yet comforted that she is healed and reunited with our father, family, and friends. We look forward to reuniting with them in God’s own time.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl White; parents, Artie C. Robertson, and Ruth E. (McKinney) Robertson; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Ann, and Frank Walker; father and mother-in-law, Gillis and Lucy (Collins) White; sister-in-law, Rita (Felknor) Robertson.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Larry Donahue; son, David A. White; brother, C.W. (Bill) Robertson; several loving cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends, dear neighbors, and devoted care-givers.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 6, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Natasha DeBord officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Presbyterian Church cemetery.
Arrangements by Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
