Priscilla “Pris” Jackson

On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Priscilla “Pris” Jackson passed away peacefully while at home.

Born in Morristown, Tennessee on September 30, 1946, Pris was proceeded in death by her husband, James Donald “Stony” Jackson, her parents Colleen and Robert “Bobby” Jack Morgan, her brother Richard “Dickie” Morgan and son, Mark Reed Hayter.

She is survived by her loving son, Michael “Mike”, his wife Cindy and their two sons, Morgan and Christopher: her loving daughter LaDonna and her two daughters, Peyton, her husband Jake, Blake and Jonah.  Her sister-in-law, Sandi, her two children, Casey and Kara. Also by her beloved dog Roscoe.  In addition to her family, she is survived by numerous friends most of whom she considered family as well.

Pris was a faithful member of All Saints Episcopal Church.

Pris had a positive outlook on life, loved her family, friends and UT football!  Well, all sports but Tennessee sports were her favorite. She loved to travel, spend time on the lake and at the beach.  She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed life to the fullest.

A celebration of life will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Tennessee sports apparel is appropriate and encouraged.  The family will receive Priscilla’s friends after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Hospice Serenity House, 421 N. High Street, Morristown, TN 37814 or made online at www.hospicefriends.org.
