Norman Charles Crusan, age 89, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was retired from Universal and was a US Marine Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Norman was the most kind and loving person to all who knew him, and was very active in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Norman was a bee keeper and loved to work with them.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Carroll B. Fosnow; mother, Elsie Crusan Fosnow; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 nieces.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rosa Yount Crusan; daughter, Miranda (Brian) Manning; bonus daughter, Danˊyel Price; grandchildren, Jacob (Bailey) Crusan, Joseph C. Hixson, Cody D. Patterson, Avery (Alexis) Manning, and Caitlin (Colt) Mooney; great-grandchildren, Brailynn and Phoenix Manning; sister, Rosemary Fosnow Lenz and children, Tanya (Tom) Strom, Ethan (Alyssa) Taylor, Hayden (Kristen) Taylor, Thomas (Dawn) Taylor; aunt, Erma Welsh; nieces, Pamela (Annie) Lynch, Garrett (Stella) Lynch, and Nolan Lynch, Elizabeth (Glen) Arveson; Melanie (Rick) DeLong and children, Annisa and Brittney Pitts; nephews, Charles (Casey)Pitts, Jr., Charles Pitts and children, Whitney and Christine; special niece and nephew, Sandra and Robert Wallace.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 26, 2024 from 6-8 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Graveside/Interment services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Creeches Chapel Cemetery in Whitesburg with Rev. Terry Greene officiating.
