Norma Jean (Seal) Shaver

Norma Jean Shaver, 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 3,2025 in North Augusta, SC.  

Norma Jean was born in Sneedville, Tn to Henry and Blanche Seal.  She raised her family in Morristown, Tn before moving to Kingsport, Tn with her husband, James “Jim” Shaver.  They then settled in N Augusta, SC.   She is a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Norris Seal; and brother-in-law, JB Roberts.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Shaver of 42 years; son, Brian Scott Trent (Jenniffer); grandchildren, Taylor Trent (Rachel), Cassie Trent, Colby Trent; great grandchildren, Maddox Trent, Hudson Trent, and Nora Trent; sisters, Ardis Roberts, Glenda Seal (Kenneth), and Dwain Seal; nieces and nephews.

The family of Norma Jean Shaver will receive friends from 12-1pm, Tuesday, March 11 at Stetzer Funeral Home, (146 E Main St Morristown). The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with the Reverend Kenneth R. Seal officiating.  

The graveside committal will be conducted at 2pm at the Hamblen Memorial Gardens (5241 Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, Tn).
