Nickolaus Gene "Nick" McCormick

Nickolaus Gene “Nick” McCormick, age 20, of Morristown, born July 11, 2004 at UT medical Center, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025. 

He was the son of Junior and Trudy Hickey.  Known for his over whelming happiness and kind hearted soul, Nick continuously brought smiles to everyone around him.  Through life and death Nick never quit giving, whether it was to those less fortunate or donating himself to save others lives in the end.

He is survived by his father, Junior Hickey; brothers, Dekota, and Logan Manning; sister, Maia Tallent; son, Ashton McCray; uncle and aunt, Crystal, and Stacy Manning; close friends, Julia Clark, Eric Heatherly, Connor Smallman, Caleb Denbow, Keeley McCray.

Nick’s legacy is filled with laughter, happiness, and unbreakable support for anyone or thing around him.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.  “Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity.” Terri Guillemets.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 19, 2025 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home from 5 – 7 P.M.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Jack Greene and Doug Livesay officiating.  Graveside/interment will be Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Roe Junction Baptist Church Cemetery.
