Nathan “Nate” Conrad Ivy, age 44, of Morristown, went to rest for Jesus to wake him up on his return through the easterly clouds. Nate was surrounded by his loved ones and was at peace with himself as his journey upon this earth has ended. Nate overcame many struggles in his short life and those who knew him seen how tough of a man he had become. Once he accepted Jesus as his savior, his mind and soul were of ease and his lite will shine for eternity!
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica Love Ivy; grandparents, Fred and Connie Ivy, and Clyde and Stella Raines.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Shirley Ivy; brother, Hilary O. Ivy; girlfriend, Melissa Quinton; son, Nathaniel (Bridgett Phillips) Ivy; daughters, Dakota (Brad Slone) Ivy, and Autumn Ivy Collins; grandchildren, Skylar, and Daniel Ivy; nephews, Dagan (Jayln) Ivy, and Rylan (Allison) Ivy; great niece, Layne “Peanut” Ivy; along with several other family members and friends.
Nathan has touched the lives of many people with his walk and talk. He was genuine and truly one of a kind! Rest in peace my brother!
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 6 – 8 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Jason Hayes speaking. Graveside/interment service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
