Mildred Pauline Lawless Derry, 78, went home to be with The Lord Saturday morning, March 28, 2020, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Way of The Cross Missionary Baptist Church and is now enjoying all that Heaven holds in Sweet Beulah Land.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Bobby Joe Derry; sons, Bobby Lloyd Derry and Terry Thomas Derry; parents, Rosie Mae and Alonzo Lawless; and brother, John Lawless.
She is survived by her son, Larry Derry; daughter and son-in-law, Rosa and James Webb; grandchildren, Bradley and Veronica Derry, David Derry, John Derry and William Webb; great-grandchildren, Madyson Derry, Mikal Derry, Aria Derry, Peyton Derry and James Gulley; sister and brother-in-law, Nola and Richard (Pug) Kimbrough; brother and sister-in-law, Collie (Goober) and Sandy Lawless; sisters-in-law, Sue Daniels, Linda Russell and daughter-in-law, Davia Derry; brother-in-law, Tommy Derry; and several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to AllCare and her special caregivers, Sandra Collins, Angie Manis, Sarah Denim and Lisa Bowlin for taking good care of her. Also, thanks to Interim Physical Therapy and her specialist therapist, Josh.
Due to current gathering restrictions of 10 people at a time because of Covid-19 friends may call at their convenience Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 5 – 9 PM at Way of Cross Missionary Baptist Church, 3222 Smith St., White Pine, TN. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Jarnagin Cemetery in Morristown with Bro. William Webb and Bro. Richard Webb will be officiating. Friends may also call on the family at the home of Mildred.
