After a fifteen year struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Nonnie is now whole and complete in the presence of her Savior. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family and supported by her devoted caregiver, Rose Ann Ray and the Gentiva Hospice team, whom the family thanks for their exceptional care over the past four years.

Nonnie is proceeded in death by her parents, Clifford Chappell Millergren and Betty Brown Millergren of Panama City, Florida.

Nonnie is survived by her loving husband, Don, her two sons, Joel and Phillip and her five grandchildren, Josiah, Grayson, Ethan, Nora and Samuel. Nonnie has three siblings, Al Millergren (Connie), Mary Jo Shepherd (Rodney-deceased) and Elaine Kennedy (Bobby-deceased) and many nieces and nephews.

Nonnie was a member of First Baptist Church, Morristown where she wore many hats and served children and youth for many years. She was also teacher for the Hamblen County Board of Education. She had a passion to help children learn to read and was loved by her students.
