Michael Edward Williams

Mike Williams, age 69, of Morristown, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, June 6, 2024 surrounded by his family after a lingering illness.  He was a member of First Christian Church and a lifelong resident of Hamblen County.  He was retired from Sherwin Williams Paint Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy, and Patricia “Pat” Cardwell Williams; and his son, Jason Heath Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Moore Williams; sons, Dalton Williams of Fayetteville, WV, Darby Williams of Chattanooga, TN, and Brett (Tonya) Tiller of Clintwood, VA; daughter, Dru (Jason) Williams Washburn; grandchildren, Jackson, Will and Sam Washburn, Hailey (Jacob) Pease Mullins and Hannah Tiller; brothers, Richard, and Bobby (Paula) Williams; along with several nieces and nephews and other family members.

A celebration of life will be Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Interment will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Jarnagin Cemetery.
