Michael Wayne Hemingway

Michael Wayne Hemingway, age 73, of Rutledge, passed away April 09, 2026, at Ridgeview Terrace of Life Care.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Hemingway; mother, Barbara Pignona; father, Leonard Hemingway, Sr.; brother, Leonard Hemingway, Jr; grandchildren, David Hemingway, and Casey Hemingway.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Tom Keefer) Hemingway; son, Scott (China Carranza) Hemingway; brother, Ronald (Kathy) Hemingway; sisters, Carla Walton, Vickie Nutting, Lori Stell, and Patt Hemingway; grandchildren, Diana, Stormy, Caled, Cayden, Katelyn, and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Michael, and Harper; along with other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6 – 7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
