Megan Danielle Broyles

Megan Danielle Broyles, age 22, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.

Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Norma Hurst and Shirley Ruth Broyles.

She is survived by her mother, Laura Broyles; father, James Broyles; brother, Lawton (Lauren) Broyles and their daughter, Hadley; sister, Jaiden Broyles; uncle, Phillip (Pam) Hurst, and step-son, Andy Haney; aunt, Donna Broyles.

Megan’s life, though filled with hardship, was a life well lived.  She loved deeply and was well loved by many.  She enjoyed being a part of Manley Baptist Church where she pioneered the special need ministry.   At Hoof and Harness Experiential Learning  she loved her pony cart rides with Silver and Bear.  She also loved participating with Luke 14 Ministries, and Luke 14 party and camp annual celebrate.  Megan made an incredible impact on all of those around her.  “Your smile and laughter… preached to us without words.”

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5 – 7 P.M. at Manley Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Manley Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Tony Buchanan officiating.  Interment will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hoof and Harness Experiential Learning and Luke 14 Ministries and Camp Celebrate.
