Mary Louise (Austin) Talley

Mary Louise Talley, age 82, of Morristown, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

She was saved at age 8, and was a longtime member of First Baptist and Hillcrest Churches.

She retired after 33½ years from Morristown-Hamblen Hospital in the very first ER and the billing offices.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Johnson Austin and Roy E. Austin; husband, Robert E. Talley; beloved fur babies, Rachel and Phoebe; first husband, James B. Goodson; special friend, Sheila Whitehead.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Beth Moffitt, and Melanie (Todd) Dailey; sisters, Darlene (Jim) Joyce, Kathy Gordon; special friend of 79 years, Cindy Trobaugh; grandchildren, Joey (Ashley) Moffitt, Katie West, and Tyan Dailey; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Nolan, Emily, Jason, Hailie, and Kina; fur babies, Buster, and Sarah; special niece, Crystal Lane; along with several other nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue at 3754 Nelson School Rd., Morristown, TN  37813.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 5-7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
