Mary "Helen" (Carter) Douglas

Mary “Helen” Douglas, age 90, of Morristown, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was retired from NCR after 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin “Jack” Douglas; parents, Jesse and Ruby Underwood Carter; six sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Cotter; grandson, Rev. Jason (Amanda) Cotter; granddaughter, Tosha Cotter; her beloved great-grandson, Londan Cotter; step-daughter, Debra (Tom) Henry; sister-in-law, Claudine Williams; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 5 – 7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Jason Cotter and Rev. Eric Langhans officiating. Graveside services will be Monday, December 6, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
