Marty Killian

Marty Killian, age 65, left his earthly body to go to his everlasting home on Monday, January 6th, 2025. He was born in Greene County, Tn & resided in Morristown, Tn.

 Marty was the son of the late MaryEllen Kesterson-Killion and Ivan Killion. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Ivan Jr., Brent “Bunny”, and Travis Killion.

Marty is survived by his wife Marie Killian; daughter, Kelly Jade (Philip) Shockley; beloved sister, Mary Lisa (Carroll) Killion-McCarter; brother and best friend, Daryl “Bab” (Debbie) Killion; Granddaughters, Shelby Shockley & Emma Harvey; Stepsons, John “Drack”, & Steven Harvey; Step granddaughters, Makayla Waggoner, Emily & Cassidy Harvey; Step grandsons, Peyton, Noah, & Tate Harvey. Special friends; Ronnie Waddell, David “Crow” Bryant, Sam Standifer, Benny Gulley, Bobby Arnwine, Karen Gregg, Sarrah Walters, & little buddy Grayson.

Marty worked as a brick mason for many years and was also the Mr. Fix-it for much of his family and friends. He was always tinkering with something, it has been said that if Marty cannot fix it, it might as well be thrown away.

Visitation will be held at Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home on Sunday, January 12th from 2-4 pm with the funeral service immediately following. The family will gather for interment on Monday, January 13th at 1 pm at Kesterson Cemetery in Mohawk, Tn.

The family would like to say thank you to those who visited, cared for, & remembered Marty in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
