Marsha Diane Sanders Easley

Marsha D. Sanders Easley, age 81, of Morristown, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at her home.  She was a member of First Methodist Church in Morristown; and was a Hamblen County School Teacher for 29 years.  After retiring from teaching school, she worked At Dollywood for 20 years.  Marsha earned her master’s degree from Auburn University, “War Eagle”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Easley; daughter Alisa Sanders-Wall; parents, Ralph and Agnes Wilson Burgess; brother, Jimmy Jones.

Survivors include her son, Gary (Alison) Sanders; grandchildren, Amanda Sanders, Daniel, Brittany, Darin Gardner, Scott and Megan Brooks; step-daughter, Jackie (David) Brooks; best friend, Martha (Bobby) Kitchens and their son, Harry; along with many other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 17, 2021 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Walter Weikel officiating.  Family and friends will meet Friday, June 18, 2021 at Liberty Hill UMC Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside/interment service.

The family would like to give a special thank you to UT Hospice for all the care and concern they showed Marsha during her illness.
