Mari Lou (Sullivan) Rogers

Mari Lou Rogers, age 61, of Talbott, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, August 12, 2023.  She attended True Life Church and formerly worked with Home Instead as a caregiver. 

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Sullivan; brother, Mitch Sullivan; and sister, Margaret Sullivan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Thomas Rogers; mother, June Sullivan; children, Marideth (Josh) Longmire, McKinley Rogers, Mattalyn Rogers, Micah (Kelly) Rogers, and Molly Rogers; grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Brice, Ellie, Libby, Maggie, Blake, Braylon, Annalyse, Kylie, Able, and McKenna; sister, Marilyn (Rodney) Stinson; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to say thank you to, UT Hospice, family, and friends for all the care and concern they showed to Mari during her sickness.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home at 5:00 P.M. with Pastor Jimmy Inman officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service.
