Margaret Katherine (Armes) Strange

Margaret Katherine Strange, age 74, of Knoxville, TN, and formerly of Newport, TN, passed away Friday, July 14th, 2023, at her home in Knoxville. In life, she was a devoted registered nurse and mother. She spent most of her career at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

 Preceded in death by parents, Casey Jack Armes and Margaret Hill; stepfather Howard Hill, sister, Rhonda Brady; brothers, Jimmy Hill and Casey Jack Armes, Jr. and ex-husband Henry Strange. 

Survived by daughter, Josette (Sven) McGaha; grandson and light of her life, Zakary McGaha; brother, Mike Hill; as well as several brother and sister in laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank special caregivers Amanda, Josh, and Arlene, as well as Covenant Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
