Lynn Mabe, age 86, of Russellville, passed into the arms of his heavenly father and family on Friday, July 19, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kyle and Jane Mabe; his loving wife, Loretta Alston Mabe; sons Ricky Lynn and Barry Mark Mabe; brothers, Tommy, Frank, Will, and Elmer Mabe; sisters, Maggie Mabe Cook and Alice Mae Shelton; grandson, Joseph Steven Hammond.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri Mabe (Gary) Greene; grandchildren, Ricky Lynn (Heather) Mabe, Tim (Amanda) Hammond, Mike Hammond (Precious Sutton and Bently), Shanna Tilson, Amanda Greene (Justin Gibson), Barry (Nichole) Mabe, Melody Mabe; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Caden, and Ariel Mabe, Trip, Jack, and Aedan Hammond, Harmony, Destiny and Jasmine Hammond, Jared and Joe Murphy; special sisters, Linda Alston and Dorothy Mabe; special niece, Donna Mabe Sutton; special daughters, Jill Kinsler and Malinda Bishop; precious great-grand, August Mabe; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 22, 2024 from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Terry Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Wood Memorial Park in Greer, SC.
