Lizzie Mae (Bowlin) Hayes

Lizzie Mae Hayes, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at her home.  She was a member of Rock Haven Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hayes; daughter, Eastelene Hayes; son, Johnny Hayes; granddaughter, Brittany Stanley; parents, Everett and Mae Clonce Bowlin; several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Leon (Susie) Hayes; daughters, Vickie (Michael Stephens) Belcher, Connie (T.G.) Ledford; daughter-in-law, Tina Hayes; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; 2 brothers; and special baby, Javelin Gratz.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2025 in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M.  Funeral services will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Truman Coffey and Rev. Jack Greene officiating.  Graveside/interment services will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Clint View Cemetery.
