Linda Sue Greene (LouLou) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 29th, 2026. She was born on January 26th, 1962. She was 64 years old.
Those who had the privilege of meeting Linda knew of her warm, friendly, and even at times sarcastic personality. Which was one of the best qualities. She sure didn’t care to tell it like it was. She lived her life by the mantra, "Learn from your mistakes but never do them again”. Her legacy, a legacy of kindness, will continue to inspire and guide us all.
Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was yard-selling on a sunny weekend, immersing herself in coloring, or finding solace in watching her tablet, and a little scavenger hunt at a yard sale. A devout lover of Mountain Dew, Linda's spirited personality was as effervescent as her favorite soda.
In her lifetime, Linda was a wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Harville and Charles Charlton; her sons, Shaun Spurling and Travis Moore; and her grandchild, Jasper Luca. Each of them held a special place in Linda's heart, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Spurling, her daughter, Chastity Campbell, and her sister, Amanda Justice. Linda's memory will continue to live on in her grandchildren: Makenzie Talton, Journey Spurling, Damien Newland Spurling (AJ), Mathew Campbell, Annalea (Rachel) Hudgens, Brianna Campbell; great-grandchildren, Ryker Stanley, Carson Grey; and special niece whom she loved like a daughter, Holly Talton.
As we mourn the loss of our beloved Linda, we will remember her by the lessons she imparted and the kindness she embodied. Though her time on this earth has ended, her spirit remains forever woven into the lives of those she touched.
The family will have a celebration of life, Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
Arrangements by Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
