Linda K Goodman

Linda "Kay" Goodman, age 55, was born on March 13, 1970, and entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 18, 2026. She passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Kay is now resting in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Kay lived her life with love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a loving aunt. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Goodman; nephew, Dusty Goodman; and grandparents, Frank and Essie Goodman. 

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Sabrina McAbee (Matt Davis); her precious grandchildren, Carson, Colton, Addison, Raiden, and Winter; her niece, Loretta Goodman (Dustin Lane); and her aunts, Barbara Goodman, and Darlene Harville; along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care for their compassionate care and support during Kay’s final days. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 5 - 7 p.m. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack Greene officiating.  Graveside/interment service will be Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. at Carters Cemetery.
