Leo Ronald Cyr, age 60, born May 14, 1966, of Dandridge, Tn, passed away on April 28, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital from a yearlong battle with vocal cord cancer. Leo is originally from New Britain, Ct, moving to Tn 11 years ago.
Leo was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Cyr; his father, Louis Cyr.
He is survived by his partner and girlfriend of 18 years, Laura Smith; his brother, Richard Cyr; and his brother, Michael Cyr and their wives; Leo came from a large family and is survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; Leo is also survived by his family at Banyan Global Technologies.
Leo loved outdoor sports, especially fishing and hunting. His past time was listening to countless videos on how to repair all types of machinery. Leo struggled his entire life with dyslexia. One thing most people will always remember about Leo is he has the "gift of gab," often never walking away from a conversation.
Leo wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest in his favorite fishing spot. To honor Leo, be compassionate to people with dyslexia and stand up for your second amendment rights.
