Lena Ruth (Fleenor) Stanley

Lena Ruth Stanley, age 80, of Morristown, formerly of Sneedville, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 at The Heritage Center in Morristown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barton and Ida Mathis Fleenor; brother, Gary Fleenor; sister, Juanita Fleenor.

She is survived by her son, Jason (Jennie) Stanley, and their family, grandchildren, Kayla Collins (Aaron Guinn), Cory and Collin Jarnigan; great-grandchildren, Madison, Lawsyn, Nolan and Eleanor; daughter, Sherry Stanley, and her family, Dailyn Stanley (Sosha Bullington); brothers, Junior and Artie Fleenor; nephew, Jeff Fleenor.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 5 – P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Carl Downey officiating.  Graveside services will be Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Burchett-Johnson Cemetery in Sneedville, TN.
