Lena Mae (Patterson) Greene Johnson

Lena Mae (Mom) Greene Johnson, age 91 of Russellville, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on March 16, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.  She was a member of Heavens View Missionary Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health declined.

She loved the Lord first and then her family.  She never met a stranger.  Her prayer was that all would find the Lord and be saved.  She was a prayer warrior.  She will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary Gorman Patterson; husbands, Eugene Wilson Greene and Hubert Johnson; son, Darrell Greene; daughter, Beverly Bryant; brothers, Junior and Jerry Patterson; sisters, Willie Chapman, Martha Patterson, Iris Southerland; grandson, Phillip Atkins.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Terri) Greene, Rev. Terry (Maxine) Greene, Rev. Larry Greene; daughters, Brenda (Danny) Sutton, Gloria (Clyde) Collier, Angie Abunijem, Sandy (Jimmy) Mullins; brother, Robert Patterson; sister, Katherine Lane; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 19, 2022 from  12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. George McCoy and Rev. Terry Greene officiating.  Graveside/Interment services will be Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
