Larry Duane Schell, Jr.

 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Duane Schell, Jr. of Surgoinsville, who died at the age of 63 on January 17th, 2025 from a sudden and brief illness. 

 While reflecting his life over the years, he was a well-versed son, step-son, brother, uncle, and friend. The most important accomplishment that he was proud of, was finding God and accepting him into his life over the recent years.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Larry D Schell Sr,; mother, Frances C. Smith; and brother, Randy Tinch. 

 Larry is survived by his step-dad, John D. Smith Jr of Bulls Gap; siblings, Connie Robinson of Surgoinsville, and Rex Tinch; sister-in law, Lisa Tinch of Indiana; and his two nieces, Wendy (Ben) Kilgore, and Carrie (Branduff) Manis. 

 We will be honoring Larry's wishes, at a later date, to be laid in rest beside his dad in Indiana.
