Larry Dean Greene

Larry Dean Greene, age 67, of Morristown, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at his home.  Larry attended First Baptist Church of Morristown.  He was a very loving father, grandfather, and a friend to many. He was an evangelist and sang gospel music with the “The Way Makers.”

He was preceded in death by his wife, Renee Greene; parents, Eugene W., and Lena Mae Patterson Greene; brother, Daryl Greene; sisters, Brenda Sutton, Gloria Collier, and Beverly Bryant.

He is survived by his sons, Larry “Dustin” (Tammy) Greene, Preston Marler (Mary) Greene, Bryce Allen (Kaiti) Greene; daughter, Janá Rose Berry; fiancé, Burl Ryner;  brothers, Terry (Maxine) Greene, Gary Rick (Terri) Greene; sisters, Angie Abunijem, and Sandra Mullins; grandchildren, Zairah Greene, Daylon Greene, Austin Greene, Caiden Link, Hayley Helmick, Ella Greene, Isabella Snowden, Brady Greene, Emma Greene, and Gracelyn Greene; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Phillip Davis officiating.  Graveside/interment services will be Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethesda Cemetery.
