Kathryn Roby (Morelock) Carter

Kathryn R. Carter, 89 years old of Greeneville, passed away at her home on January 6th, 2022.  She was born in Durand, Illinois on June 9th, 1932.  She worked at Green Valley, Laughlin Hospital, and Jerry Hall Real Estate in her past years.  She is a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Gertrude Robinson; father, Elbert Alexander Morelock; husband, Billy Joe Carter; 12 siblings; sons, Ronnie and Phil Carter; daughter, Tonya Carter; and daughter-in-law, Angela Dawn Carter.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Jeffery Carter and Billy Joe Carter; daughter, Ruth Lamb; two daughters-in-law, Fran Carter and Ann Carter; son-in-law, Wayne Lamb; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her special pet “baby”.

The family is planning a service at Notre Dame Catholic Church for a later date.
