Mrs. Kaeron T. Gosnell of Morristown went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 10th, 2023.
She was born August 20, 1942, in Statesville, North Carolina to the late Paul and Ada Thomas. She and her husband, David, grew up together as their families lived across the street from one another. Kaeron and David were married on June 23, 1961, and served together in many capacities through their involvement with the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. Their commitment to the Lord, one another, and their family through life’s many storms has been an amazing example for others.
Kaeron will be fondly remembered for her love for family and the many neighborhood kids that she and her husband welcomed into their home over the years. Always endeavoring to make sure each one knew how special and loved they were. Kaeron was a talented artist who often sketched portraits of family and friends. She was an accomplished pianist with a beautiful soprano voice. Kaeron worked with the Morristown Board of Realtors for approximately ten years where she had many friends.
The family would like to express a very special thank you and offer their sincere appreciation to the University of Tennessee Hospice healthcare workers, social worker Pam Jinks, the staff of the Memory Center at Regency Retirement Village, and the staff of The Serenity House of Morristown, for the care they provided her and the exceptional support they provided her family throughout this difficult time.
Left to cherish her memory are her lifelong friend, husband of 62 years, and committed caregiver of the last several years, David C. Gosnell, Sr., their three children: David (Brenda) Gosnell, Jr., of New Hampshire, Chris (Melissa) Gosnell of North Carolina, and Tanya (Keith) Davis of Alabama. She was the proud grandmother of Curtis Gosnell and Linda Gosnell of New Hampshire, Dr. Hailey Gosnell of Ohio, Dr. Jonathan Gosnell of New Jersey, Micah Brianne Davis of Florida, and Caleb Davis of Alabama. Kaeron is also survived by her brother Barry Thomas and sister Paulette (Jerry) Keys of North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
