Judy Rose Williams, age 72, of Sneedville, born to Elbert (Rufus) and Flora Collins passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. She confessed in her faith at an earlier age of the Church of God of Prophecy in Pennington Gap.
She loved the common, simple life, and being surrounded by family and lots of friends. She loved to cook and would have fed the world if she could have. She had a “tell it like it is” personality, was a small petite “lil one,” but was fierce, feisty, and fearless and didn’t mind to light you up like a firecracker! Her favorite saying was: “one rose would do”! She never met a stranger and would have you talking whether you wanted to or not. She was definitely “One of a Kind.”
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Taylor and Liza Jane Collins and Lee and Ida O’Dell; brother, Edward (Bubby) Collins; sister, Margie Hurd; special granddaughter, Cassie Grace Williams, ex-husband, Billy Williams; neighbor, Annell Seal; longtime companion, Andy Hall; and all her work buddies and many more.
She leaves behind her special children, son, Tommy Williams; daughter, Tanya (Tommy-Wolfie) Wolford; grandchildren, Devin “Grasshopper” Johnson, Allison Hopkins, Alyssa “Lyssa” Williams, Anessa “Lil britches” Winstead, Emma “Emma bug” Williams; great-grandchildren, Kash “Kash Ryder” Williams, Kaylum Williams, Aalayiah Williams, Easton “Lil Wolfie” Wolford; brothers, Gary “Jack” “Joyce” Collins, Lonnie “Bo” Collins; sisters, Ada Burchett, Brenda Coldiron, and Kathy Hatfield (her baby sis whom she was very close to); step-children, Josh Williams and Christopher “Brock” Williams and their family, Tim Seal and Vickey Collins; along with several nieces and nephews; very special longtime friends; Pat Peach (whom she loved deeply), Pam Mullins, Sue Mullins; very special friends, Willie Amos, Tammy Williams, Doris Johnson, Penny Greene, Debbie Stahl, Vickie Collins, and too many to mention, including all her work friends, surrounding community friends, and all the places and store where she loved to hang out and have a “Good Time”; her special fur baby, “Marlie”.
The family would like to say thank you to everyone who helped make her life special ; and to Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.
A memorial/Remembrance Day will be held at the Sneedville Community Center (her work place) on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
Much Love “RIP MOM”
