Joseph Edgar “Eddie” Gregory, Jr., age 81, of Cat Spring, TX, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 18, 2024.

He was born on September 13, 1943, in Rockwood, TN, to Joseph Edgar, Sr., and Katherine Louise Brown Gregory. Joe grew up and attended school in Morristown, TN. After completing his education, he moved to Texas where he worked for Humble Oil, which later became Exxon, and had a 35-year career with the company before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr., and Katherine Louise Gregory; and his late wife, Eleanor Gregory.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gwen Gregory of Cat Spring, TX; his two children; 3 grandchildren; sister, Julia (George) Lyons, of Georgia; 2 nieces; and numerous cousins, other family members, and many cherished friends.

His services are being handled by Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville, TX.
