Johnny H. Moore

Johnny H. Moore, age 69, of Bulls Gap, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home with family by his side.  He was a member and deacon of Whitesburg Presbyterian Church which later became Barton Springs Presbyterian Church.  He was saved and baptized at Enterprise Baptist Church.  He was a cattle trader by trade and a professional rodeo calf and team roper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rico Mae Bell Moore; sister, Patsy Joann Talley; and brothers, Ralph and Ed Moore.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Anita Moore; brother-in-law, Johnny Talley; sister-in-law, Lois (Greg) Haney; along with a host of nieces, nephews and many close beloved friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 5-7 P.M.in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow with Rev. William Bradley and Rev. John Tucker officiating.  Graveside/interment service will be  July 12, 2022 at 12:30 P.M. at East TN State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy., Knoxville, TN.
