John Michael Cardone

John Michael Cardone, age 96, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Charter Senior Living.  He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church since moving to Morristown in 1961.  John was a proud member of the Knight of Columbus achieving the 4th Degree status.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Inez Cardone; son, Brian Cardone; great-grandson, Aryus Conner; parents, Michael, and Jenny Cardone; siblings, Mary Shedlock, Anita Altaugh and Jeannie Gatz.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Sherree) Cardone; daughter, Barbara (Tom) Conner; sister, Thomasina Cardone; grandchildren, Michelle Cardone, Rachel (Billy) Winstead, Samantha (Brad) Pollard, Nicholas (Ashley) Conner, Felisha (Derek) Greene, Brian (Jamie) Conner; great-grandchildren, Eve (Caleb) Moore, Sophia (Matthew) Cardone-Graham, Gabe and Sarah Winstead, Cooper and Madelyn Pollard, Lauren and Carter Greene, and Megan Conner.

The family wishes to thank, April, Whitney, Ashley, Sally, and the rest of the staff at Charter House, and thanks to Anthony, Jamie, Iris, and rest of staff at Caris hospice for all the love and kindness they put into the care of our father.  Special thanks to Bill Paolercio for his spiritual support of our dad during his final months.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 06, 2025 from 6 – 8 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral chapel.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 07, 2025 at 2:30 P.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Entombment will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
