John Michael "Mike" Brown, Sr.

John (Mike) Brown Sr., born on November 7, 1968 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Joann and Larry Brown, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee.  Mike was a passionate and vibrant soul whose life was deeply shaped by his love of music and the bond he shared with his cherished pets, who filled his heart with joy.  Whether through the soulful strumming of his guitar or the way he effortlessly connected with others through music, Mike’s love for it was a defining part of who he was.

Mike is reunited with his parents, Joanne Bell and Larry Brown; brother, Wayne Brown.

He is survived by his children, Sherri Brown, Erin Brown, Michael Brown, Jordan Heaton, and Dylan Grundy; along with seven beloved grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.  He will be deeply missed.
