Jerry J. Russell

Jerry Russell, age 75, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at his daughter’s home in White Pine;  with his family by his side.  He was the owner and operator of Jerry’s Wrecker Service and Garage since the mid 1970’s.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Atkins Russell; daughters, Charlene Russell and Sharon Hollifield; parents, Walter and Bertie Minor Russell; brothers, Tony, Arlie, Hubert, Wayne, and Curt Russell.

He is survived by his children, Amy (Charles) Russell, Annette Scherbert, Debra (Terry) Lovell, Loretta (Scotty) Gibson, Jerry Russell; sister, Patricia Clark; brothers, Bobby (Susie) Russell and Glenn Russell; along with several nieces, nephews, 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and other family members.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 27, 2023 from 5 – 7 P.M. in the chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Jack Greene and Ted Harbin officiating.  Graveside/interment services will be Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
