Jean Brown, 87, passed from this earth and entered her heavenly home on February 4, 2020. She was a member of the Morristown Church of Christ and was known for her quiet and loving spirit. She was a long-time resident of Waynesboro and Chattanooga, TN before moving to Morristown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lester Brown, and her parents, Lacy and Dewey Fleeman.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Montgomery (Tom) of Morristown; her son, Mike Brown (Laura) of Franklin; grandson, Neal Montgomery of Knoxville; granddaughter, Nan Glenn (Craig) of Franklin; grandson, Adam Montgomery (Jenna) of La Mesa, CA, grandson, Reeves Brown of Denver, CO, grandson, Lincoln Brown of Franklin; and great-granddaughters, Rowen Glenn and Clara Montgomery.
Her family would like to thank the employees of The Regency Retirement Village, Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, and The Heritage Center for their care for Jean over the past few months as her health declined.
The family will receive friends at the Morristown Church of Christ on Thursday evening from 5-7 P.M. A graveside burial service will be held at the Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. central time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morristown Church of Christ.
