James "Danny" or "PL" Daniel Pollard

James Daniel Pollard, age 70, of Talbott, better known as “Danny” or “PL” to family and friends went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at UT Medical Center.

Danny was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.

He was the baby son of Tadlock and Zelma Pollard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; all his brothers; and only sister.

He is survived by his only son, Daniel (Casey) Pollard; stepson, James Hill; grandchildren, Morgan, Zachary, Chase, Kirsten, and Ciara; great-grandchildren, Levi, Dawson, Josie, Kingston, Jah’Kyla, Gabriel, and Holden; special mentions, Tammy Short, Janie Pollard, Tammy Pollard, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
